I was born in Van Nuys California on March 18th, the day before my moms birthday. I always liked that.
I lost my dear momma when I was 16. I was lost.
My dad and I, and our dog, Coco moved from Carlsbad Ca. to Mar Vista. I went to Venice High.
I was a small fish in a very big ocean, but I made friends, and graduated.
I became engaged while in High S. I met my special companion at a church function.
Our fist date was going to a movie called "Easy Rider", since Daryl had an old Indian motorcycle, he wanted to see it, as did I. I though Peter Fonda was so cute! The movie was wild, and I liked it. I loved riding on my then boyfriend's motorcycle. So exciting, and fun.
I married the October after I graduated. I was 19.
It was so fun being on my own with a wonderful new husband, and our first little apartment.
We bought a baby St. Bernard. "Daryl" had always wanted one, so we went to select one.
Heidi became our first baby, and she was so fun and so adorable. Everyone wanted to see her and play with her.
We later moved to Utah, we loved the snow and skiing. We bought a wonderful home on 122 S. 2nd E. in Provo. How I wish we still owned it!
My husband went "back" into Navy, and that was our life till '78 when he had to be medically retired. We had so wanted to stay in, nad continue seeing far away places.
I will add more to my story at a later time.
